Sysgen RPO, the premier IT Recruitment and Recruitment Process Outsourcing provider in the Philippines, recently concluded a successful on-campus recruitment campaign for their client, a Japanese tech firm that develops software for automotive components.
The client tapped Sysgen RPO to recruit 50 young talents from various universities in Luzon. The on-campus recruitment team was led by Sysgen’s Roger Stephen Rivera, Rosemarie Ched Esto, Kristine Magcawas, Joanna Lyn Gutierrez, and Ferdinand Figueroa.
After five months of intensive campus recruitment from more than 20 prestigious IT colleges, Sysgen RPO was able to successfully hire their client’s newest Junior Software Engineers.
Maximizing the use of job portals such as Jobstreet and Indeed, including the placement of job ads on social media like Facebook, Sysgen delivered a strategic recruitment strategy that perfectly blended traditional recruitment and modern methods with digital technology.
With their proven track record in the IT recruitment industry, Sysgen partnered with different universities within and outside Metro Manila to join their annual job fairs. They also conducted an Exclusive Job Fair within the campus to administer the initial recruitment process and employment exam. With its strategic on-campus recruitment strategy, Sysgen has expertly sourced fresh graduates whose qualifications fit the role of their client’s vacancy.
“Working for this project was overwhelming, but this experience taught me so much, especially being the Team Lead. I had to be responsible for managing both the client and the team,” said Rosemarie Ched Esto, Sysgen Team Lead for on-campus recruitment.
“Thus, as the middleman, I had to deliver clear communications in both parties to have a smooth hiring process. Handling a Japanese client is something new to me, including their recruitment process. With that, I learned to be more flexible and adaptable to the process as it was different from what I used to do,” she added.
